Inauguration

Finally my centre was inaugurated on 27th Apr. It has been a "hell" 2 weeks plus, especially the last weekend, when I had to be back office, leaving the family. Fortunately god sent me an angel. I thanked dar for her understanding and being my pillar of strength. Indeed, it would not have been possible without her support. I remembered feeling so blue and helpless in the new position, churning out xxth version of the script. To think I only got the script cleared at 12am on Mon morning! Fortunately, she took good care of the family. And all her meaningful and uplifting really inspired me. I hope that I'd be able to do the same for her too on 29th May...

Leaving Changi Airport

I am now waiting for my flight to Jkt. Feels strange and alone, after the boisterous sent-off by the kids and my family (we celebrated my dad's birthday just before coming here). We forgot to bring the tiramisu that dar painstakingly prepared yesterday, so we had a very unique pandan cake celebration at Changi Terminal 2. Indeed, like dar says, it is "hua gui"..we sang a "quiet" song - (well kids were quite loud), then we all started plucking out with our bare hands. Really memorable.

Cant do this again :( I mean really feels very strange without the kids and dar, and thinking about the schedule that dar has to run tomrw for the kids; claire to school at 645, nigel to Cove for his NDP recording and Chloe for her new therapy session, before picking up Noah home...Thanks dar. What will we do without you?

Fortunately, this is a very short trip..I'm already waiting for touch-down to Changi tomr. Will see you soon..Lots of hugs and kisses :)
