Going Home

Today is the last day in Gold Coast. Cant wait to go back to S'pore to smell and hug the kids and my wife. To think that I had to buy a new luggage bag for all the gifts and presents. Well, I guess I had my share of fun here, satisfying my casino craving. Too much sausage and ham also, cant wait for my mee kia tah and chicken rice. Ahh...hopefully i will have a good weekend with the family. God bless!

Room with a View

Here I am in Brisbane, for a week now, while my wife is handling our four little ones at home, juggling with her school work, the breastfeeding, teaching Claire....and I have been at class, enjoying the cool weather, shopping, at the casino..life is unfair.

The photo is of my room at the Sea World resort. I wished I could have brought the family along, but the schedule wasnt right, and the cost..could have been better spent with the whole extended family at Genting instead. In any case, it's just another 5 more days. But I had excellent news today about Dar's PHD offer and Claire's motivation..beats the room with the view.

Brisbane

And so I am now preparing to leave for Brisbane for a course in a few hours time.
Just worried abt dar and the 4 little ones. It's always like that...when I have to disappear when the family is busy..Will be away for 2 weeks. Just pray and hope that all will be fine...

This past week has seen Chloe improving, quite a few more new words in her vocab..and Noah...although still giving us sleepless nights, have been growing well..and yes, we all just love to kiss and disturb him. Claire had her Korean dress adventure just yesterday, and all because I wasnt willing to spend some $ to buy her a new costume. Nigel..well he still says he wants both Fina and Vanessa....

Will miss the family...

Noah's 1st month

Today was Noah's 1st month. After I got back from duty, we went to my parents, followed by Novena before adjourning home for lunch. Like my wife said, it was a simple outing but something we have not done for a while as a family. Indeed, it was good to see all the kids out, playing and happy. We followed it up with another one to Compass Point, buying some household stuff, playing Arcade before returning...simple pleasures which we had taken for granted...not anymore.

I am planning to bring the whole (extended) family to Genting this June..As long as everone is happy, and we enjoy each others' company, that's what matters!
