HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAR

And so we celebrated my dar's birthday. (Happy Sweet 18th).
I finally managed to get 3 days of leave. Hectic no doubt, but very well spent. We did the passport for the family, has 2some time at Jacksons (yea boorish), went to Sentosa and had a family suite. The kids loved it! We did the Lush and cable car, and also had some time at Vivo. Of course, we had our little trifles...part of the game..har!

But seriously I was very happy. To think that through God's blessing, No 2 and no 3 had a fantabuluous time at Cat Cove today too made me happier. No surprise that the person to thank was my dar. She is the one who put in all the effort. What will we do without you.. Thanks dar and happy sweet 18th!

Chloe at the Caterpillar Cove

We finally put Chloe at the trial in the last week of May. I stayed with her on the last 2 days while Dar stayed with her on the first. Seemed quite ok during the trial. But when we returned this week, seemed to be another story. First, she was feeling the separation anxiety. Then the teacher in charge commented to dar that Chloe was quite different and said to put Chloe through tests, which really freaked her out.

We had quite a talk. Fortunately, Chloe seemed to be picking up slightly, just slightly. She is still feeling the separation anxiety. But we just have to persevere...for her sake. Any improvement is still an improvement. In the meantime, we would be considering Nigel for the centre as well....

Sacrifice

It's been tough for my wife recently. The big 2 have been on an overdrive since the start of the hols, Chloe is still not adapted at the Caterpillar's Cove, Noah still wakes quite a bit in the night, her stresses from her exams and presentations, and as usual, my work schedule means I am not of much help when needed.

Add on to this, Mum seems to have trouble taking care of the kids at home. I know it's been a huge sacrifice on my wife's part. No one else would be able to take such stresses. Feel really shitty also...If I could only bring home the bacon by myself.
