Testing the family

Last night was pathetic. It's the latest that I have worked. Left office at 1110pm...all for an update brief to my big big boss at 8 am this morning...Did not have a chance to call home, becos figured that by then 1050 pm, dar and the 2 girls would have been in bed. Didnt want to wake them. I'm sure she is upset..and rightly so.
To think that my new year resolution was work-life balance....my foot. While she is in her confinement, she had to send the kids for medical, without any good sleep at night so that she could breastfeed Noah...while I am at work and not helping at home.

My poor Teck is now at my parent's place, and I am here with him. We had to segregate him as he was down with chicken pox, and Noah is only 6 days old...While I may be physically here with him, I am actually not spending quality time with him. And I am afraid that I am a carrier for the chicken pox also...then spread to kids, so I also cannot go home. What would be the point of the segregation if I were to go home and spread to the family? But that would mean that I would not get to see my 2 girls, Noah and my wife..How?? Dilemma. Missed them so much. But what can I do?

Just wished Teck would get well quick, his lesions would dry up soon. But also that the kids at home remain healthy..and my poor wife...Lord, pls give us all strength, cos we really really need it.
